journeydata.png

Every new vehicle generation is an opportunity to rethink the driver experience. For BMW's next-generation HMI, I contributed to the design and development of multiple in-car applications, translating complex technical requirements into intuitive user experiences. The selected work covers different powertrain types and several safety-critical use cases.

Challanges

Automotive UX is shaped by technical, regulatory and organizational complexity. Every concept must scale across multiple vehicle variants, markets and driving situations while balancing diverse user needs, safety requirements and the expectations of engineering, product and business stakeholders.

My Responsibilties

My role was to shape several complete HMI feature experiences from concept to production for multiple vehicle software generations and brands of the BMW Group. Balancing user needs, technical constraints and safety requirements. Aligned UX, engineering, product and management stakeholders, while I translated complex system requirements into intuitive production-ready experiences.
